Molina Healthcare Donates Scholarship Funds for 20 Pregnant Women to Take Classes on bEarth Work

We are preparing for our "bEarth Work Baby Bump Bash" on February 1st in Atlanta, Georgia. This event is designed to provide valuable pregnancy information and shower moms-to-be with gifts as they journey into motherhood. A special thank you to our event sponsors: March of Dimes, Earth Mama Organics, Motherlove, Dr. Kent Robinson, Macks Group, Baby Yams, and Molina Healthcare. We are especially excited that in 2024 Molina Healthcare donated scholarship funds in support of this event for 20 pregnant women to take classes on bEarth Work. The scholarships will provide participants with the opportunity to receive education from birthworkers on topics spanning pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum health.
You can still register for this event here. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for this event and donating items to be included in gift bags for attendees, please also contact us at info@bearthwork.com.
New Resource: Infant Feeding During Natural Disasters and Support for Breastfeeding Families

Our heart breaks with the rest of the country as we continue to watch the devastating impact of the wildfires in Los Angeles. See the resources below for breastfeeding families impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.
San Diego Breastfeeding Center is offering free virtual lactation appointments (if they do not take your insurance) to anyone displaced by the LA Fires.
Breastfeed LA is collecting baby items (pumps, nursing pillows, clothes, etc.) for families affected by the fires.
Black Girls Mental Health Foundation is offering a variety of services and resources for families affected by the wildfires, including free therapy sessions and delivering essential items, such as diapers, wipes, and clothing.
During natural disasters, like wildfires, continued breastfeeding is recommended and remains the safest way to feed your baby. Check out our new resource on infant feeding during natural disasters.
